Infinity War Reaction

The movie deals with sacrifice mainly through the mirrored solutions to keeping Thanos away from the stones. In the earth plot Vision wants to destroy the stone, sacrificing himself for the universe. In the titan plot Strange is willing to sacrifice the rest of his team to keep the stone safe. Thor safricifes his life to the star for a chance of killing Thanos. Even Thanos sacrifices his daughter for the stones. each subplot is about a character sacrificing themselves in order to uphold the greater good in their view. Perhaps the most interesting enactment of this them is the way in which Strange gives up the stone for his perceived outcome essentially killing himself for the chance of victory. this entire film revolves around the question of trading lives with a great deal of moral ambiguity on the subject. The perceived villain Thanos is trading the amount of life for the quality of life. equally each character makes a separate decision on trading lives with the non-scientific ones tending towards not and the scientific ones tending towards.
