Existentialism is a humanism. However, societal controls have made us go away from that state of freedom to the point at which we cannot truly be capital F Free. No mater what a person is going to be put in bad faith. in telling Neo he is not the one he is forced to make the necessary actions in becoming the one. Each individual should strive towards achieving freedom with a conscious recognition that they will not achieve that freedom. Fate does not exist in on itself, fate is manufactured.
